Rooms with Matterhorn Views
The Alpenlodge offers 12 rooms with wooden furniture made from natural materials. Ten rooms feature views of the Matterhorn mountain. Options include double rooms, maisonette junior suites, and quadruple rooms. Some rooms have terraces or balconies facing south, soundproof walls, and private bathrooms with bathtubs and separate showers. The two-floor chalet room includes two double beds across separate floors.
Breakfast with Local Products
Breakfast is served daily from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM. The selection includes fresh products from local partners and homemade items like jams. Eggs and coffee are prepared to order. Guests can choose from options like hard-boiled, soft-boiled, scrambled, sunny side up, Americano, espresso, or cappuccino.
Zen Spa & Relaxation
The wellness center includes a sauna, steam room, and relaxation zone with Matterhorn views. It operates from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The relaxation room has comfortable lounge chairs and meditative music. A small terrace is also available for guests.
Location Near Forest
The hotel is located in Zer Bännu, a sunny hillside area near the woods, a 15-minute walk from Zermatt center. It is 10 minutes on foot to the Sunnegga cable car and buses to Matterhorn cable cars. The train station is 10-15 minutes away. In winter, guests can ski nearly to the hotel entrance; in summer, hiking trails start at the door.

Transfers to and from train stations are available for stays of two nights or longer. Luggage storage is offered on departure day, with an option to send luggage to the station. Zermatt is car-free; guests driving must park in Täsch and take a train or taxi to Zermatt. Check-out requires settling the bill the day before if departing early.
